# Sage HR HRIS Integration

> Sage HR connector for Kombo's HRIS API

The Sage HR HRIS integration allows you to sync HRIS data between Sage HR and your application through Kombo's unified API. The tool slug for this connector is `sagehr`.

        The `work_email` field is required for creating employees in SageHR. SageHR only accepts teams, managers, positions, locations, employee numbers, absence approvers and leave types after the employee exists. We set them in a follow-up request, so the employee is still created and returned if applying them fails, and we report a warning instead. SageHR custom fields have to be written one request at a time, so setting many of them makes the request slower.
